Morgan-Davis International was established in 1987.  We are a family owned and operated business.  Our goal is to provide the highest quality “Kobe” Style American Wagyu beef to our customers from the pasture to plate.

Our entrance into the Wagyu business was both somewhat by design and accident.  While marketing our domestic U.S. Beef in Asia, we experienced the high quality and great taste of Wagyu Beef. Soon after, Ted and his father purchased the heart of the Calco Japanese Wagyu herd.  Since the purchase of that great foundation herd, we have been aggressively taking it to a higher level through modern technologies and this launched us full steam ahead into our present program.

Our beef comes from cattle we raise.  Production methods from birth to box were developed with complete traceability of every animal.  Our cattle graze on lush open pastures and fatten on an all natural feed ration.  No animal byproducts are used in the diet of our animals.  Our cattle are free of chemical residue, and no antibiotics or growth stimulants are used.  Lab testing is done on every lot.  All of our production methods qualify under the USDA and EU Commission Guidelines.

All cattle are handled humanely during their lifetime.  They are transported over the highways of the Midwest in trucks equipped with air ride suspension for the comfort of the animal.

Harvesting is done at O’Neill Packing Company in Omaha, Nebraska which is a recognized EU harvesting and fabrication facility.  This facility is USDA approved for both the domestic and export markets.

Morgan-Davis International was awarded the first ever “Producer of the Year” award in 2003 by the American Wagyu Association.

We have been a member of the U.S. Meat Export Federation since 2003 and participate in their World Wide Food Exhibitions.
